Refund policy

At Monroyal Cakes, each creation is handcrafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. By placing an order, you agree to the following terms.

Payment

Full payment is required to secure your order. Orders are confirmed only once payment has been received and a confirmation has been issued. All confirmed orders remain payable in the event of cancellation or postponement.

Returns

Due to the perishable and bespoke nature of our products, we do not accept returns on cakes, cake pops, cupcakes, cookies, or other edible items.

Returns are also not accepted for:

Custom or personalized orders
Sale items
Gift cards

Order Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@monroyal.ch.

30 days or more before your event: full refund
7–29 days before your event: 50% refund
7 days or less before your event: no refund

Cancellations made within 7 days of your event are non-refundable, as preparation and ingredient sourcing will already be in progress.

Delivery & Collection

Please ensure that someone is available to receive your order at the agreed time. If unattended, the order may be left in a safe place; however, responsibility cannot be assumed thereafter.

Once an order leaves our premises—whether collected by the customer or dispatched via a third-party courier—full responsibility for handling, transport, and storage transfers to the customer.

Damages & Quality

We kindly ask that all items be checked at the time of collection.

Once the order has been accepted in good condition and removed from our premises, responsibility rests with the customer.

Any concerns regarding quality must be reported within 6 hours of receipt, accompanied by clear photographs. We are committed to addressing genuine concerns promptly and fairly.

Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank or card provider.

Photography

We reserve the right to photograph our creations for use across our social media (Instagram @monroyal_cakes), website, portfolio, and marketing materials.

No personal information will ever be shared. Should you prefer your order not to be featured, please inform us at the time of placing your order.
