Since I am not a writer but a baker, I have to disappoint everyone who is reading on. You won't read any heartwarming stories here about years of self-discovery in the Indian Ashram, where after months of searching I came to the realization that my great love is baking. I could also say that I just followed the call of my passion and found my happiness in confectionery today. Those would be cool stories, but like so many things on the internet today, one thing above all: a fantasy. So here are the simple facts: Mexican pastry chef living in Switzerland, 2 children, a husband, plus a dog called Banksy. There's really not more to say about myself. In case you are interested in what others say about me, here's a little sample: «Brenda makes the finest, most beautiful cakes in town» or «how the hell did you do that?» or «oh my god, i'm dying!». I better stop here, because as I said, romantic kitsch and exaggerations are not my thing (except for cake). So simply have fun browsing my website and sorry if the webdesign isn't perfect. Because guess what: I'm not a webdesigner either. But I can promise you one thing: I can bake. Try me!
